After a nice day all around Oberstdorf, we had a delicious cyclist and enjoyed the great sunset.

Price performance is not right here. Käsespätzle disappointing, prepared with bland cheese. Although we had ordered the large portion of roast beef, there was a thin slice of meat. Despite ordering a side salad, you never got full.

Corona: A table reservation is recommended here. Only every 2nd table is occupied and the well-dressed service staff is wearing their mask properly. The ambience is good and the food delicious ? On the day of our visit, only one waitress was there to distribute drinks and food, pay, clear away and receive new guests. In a friendly and / but also directly, waiting guests in the entrance area were turned away because there were no more tables available. Anyone who complains about the service here should do better first. The food was very tasty. Always happy?

Food great! Operation is not possible! Snippy and cheeky. Takes my napkin in hand, asks if we're done. When I hear that I'm not finished yet and want a new napkin, it gets even snappier. And then, in all seriousness, listlessly throws me a smacked napkin on the table. Doesn't work at all. Overstrained from front to back. Doesn't make up for good food.

The decor is nice, the service is nice, the food is reasonably good.

We were in the restaurant on September 16, 2020. We pre-ordered for 6:30 p.m. on the same day. Unfortunately the reservation was not reserved. We wanted to sit on the terrace in the warm weather. Unfortunately we could not do this because the service on the terrace would be stopped for the next 30 minutes as it was getting too cold. Too cold for the service staff? An absurdity. Guests who came later and wanted to sit on the terrace left again because this was denied. I had an Allgäu schnitzel. Filled with bacon and cheese, served with french fries. The schnitzel was pounded wide and folded up. Not filled as you actually know it. The fries were from the freezer a kilo for 1 euro. I've been there twice. Today and the last time.

I got a thin brown sauce with the cream schnitzel. It would not be bad to offer a side salad or some vegetables with the dish. The berline liver was very tasty, but the fried potatoes were mostly not brown (roasted aromas). The service was very nice and the desserts were great. (Kaiserschmarn and drunk virgin.

Nice and cozy restaurant with a large outside terrace. Eating home-style, inexpensive. Almost all dishes are also available as a cheaper "small" portion. Highly Recommended.

Frozen food instead of fresh ingredients Stayed as a family in July 2020. Disappointing across the board. The "Allgäuer Schnitzel", the spaetzle and the slices of salmon were, in our opinion, clearly frozen instead of fresh, which was of course disputed by the waitress, whose friendliness was put on. And the salad must have been waiting for a few hours. Once and never again. Ultimately only eaten because of hunger. Not recommended.

The salmon tasted very bland and tasteless. In addition, the salad and dressing didn't taste fresh. I do not recommend this restaurant, I am disappointed.

Very friendly service and great ambience with a view of the mountains. The potato cream soup tasted very good. The Allgäuer Käsespätzle were also good, but unfortunately not salted enough. Nevertheless, highly recommended!

Very nice service. Didn't reserve and still got a seat without problems. Food was so delicious that it was not enough to take a picture of it. Never had a better Kaiserschmarrn. Nice beer menu with short explanations.

The food was OK but nothing special. Staff was polite but not overly friendly and we had to get up in order to get them to give us the check. There are better, cheaper options around.
